Back Again, This Time for Good (I hope)

Obviously (from my absence) things with Mom got difficult again. But she's improved alot this past week, and my sister is coming up today to help. For the first time since the middle of April I actually feel positive about the outcome. For a while I thought it was going to be one of those one-two punches - loose Daddy in January and loose Mom in May from a broken heart (and congestive heart failure). But she's alot stronger now, and the visiting nurses and therapists are very enthusiastic about the progress she has made. It's been a difficult first six months of 2006 for us, but there is light at the end of the tunnel, I think.

I'm putting serious consideration in getting a laptop, just so that I'm not put in the position of not being able to post from the road again. The new MacBooks are looking pretty good...
