Hillary's 'Cry' Predicted Last Week
I hear, via Jonah Goldberg at NRO, that Hillary Clinton's "cry" today was predicted last week by the Anchoress on her blog. As the Clintons don't have a spontaneous bone in their bodies, I'm certain that this "choked up" episode was planned from the start, mainly because Hillary's answer that delivered the emotional moment had nothing to do with the question posed to her by a sympathetic photojournalist. I'm just surprised that someone actually predicted this Hillary "wet" play for sympathy and votes. From the Anchoress blog, last week:
Mrs. Clinton gets one pass after another; the press ho-hums along. They remind me a little of Snow White’s dwarves, whistling away while they busily work at broadening her inaugural route.
What I dread most in this political season is the “genuine” moment - and it is coming, soon, sometime between today and tomorrow, or tomorrow and New Hampshire - when Mrs. Clinton, in her ongoing effort to turn herself into whatever the polls says she must be, cries in public. It’s going to be genuinely ghastly.
I wouldn't call it "ghastly" - I'd call it b@#%&*#t:
